Flowing across six South East Asian nations, spanning from China to Vietnam, the Mekong River has emerged as the agricultural cornerstone of the region and the vital sustenance of the Mekong Delta. However, this vital river faces a multitude of challenges to its natural course, including the construction of hydroelectric dams aimed at flow control and the encroachment of seawater.
In response to this directive, I crafted an illustration for Saigoneer, wherein the Mekong River is symbolized by a majestic blue dragon, while the hydro power dams are depicted as menacing chopping knives.
