Tet, or the Lunar New Year, in Vietnam is a time steeped in tradition, and these traditions can vary quite a bit from North to South. From the way fruit is arranged on plates to how Lucky money is exchanged, each region has its own unique customs that reflect the essence of their distinct cultures. Below, you’ll find a series of illustrations I created for the article. The left side showcases traditions from the North, and the right side features those from the South. Please enjoy!
