HANNAH HOANG
Hannah Hoang is an illustrator-graphic designer based in Vietnam, with a passion for story-telling and cute things. With seven years of experience in the industry, she has proved herself as a versatile and reliable artist.
Hannah’s love for arts emerged from a young age, from watching cartoons and reading children books. This had motivated her to pursue a degree in Animation Arts at the renowned Lasalle College of the arts. Upon graduation, she started working as an Animator for Robot Playground, a Singaporean animation studio, but soon realized that her interest in arts is not limited to one medium.
She then took on the role of Designer at a Saigon’s media company Saigoneer, working while learning all the fundamentals needed for designing, illustrating and video editing. Her persisted hard work gained her the role of Design manager, in which she managed a team of five designers, guiding and helping them to produce daily quality work. She also offered advice and insights of the industry to the newly-graduated designers. It was then she realized her dream goal: to open her own studio and have her own team of designers.
In 2023, after five years of fulfilling the role, Hannah decided it was time to pursue her goal. In 2024, she and her partner in crime Hana Truong teamed up with other designers and opened up their design studio: Anihive Studio. Here she serves as Art Director, Illustrator and Editor.
Although opening a studio amidst a difficult economy and the rise of AI is frowned upon by many, Hannah is still confident in the future of the studio, with the quality work that they deliver.
